Thrombin recognition and cleavage sites

Thrombin is a protease widely used to cut tags. Because of its strong sequence specificity and high hydrolysis efficiency, thrombin has been widely used in the development of genetically engineered products, and one of its applications is as an instrumental protease for the specific breakage of recombinant fusion proteins.
